#CompanyBloggingForum

Lemme just set the scene for y'all.

Basics back in December I saw in my Company magazine that they would be hosting a forum on blogging with speakers such as wishwishwish and 5inchandup. It was £25 for a ticket and I YOLOed it. I picked up the phone and booked a place.
A month on, in the midst of revision and January deadlines it was at the back of my mind until I checked the confirmation email and saw it was on Tuesday.

So after a full day of classes I speed-walked home swapped my textbooks for my maps and set off into the night.
In reality it was only ten to six, but it was dark none the less!
I got off at Monument to change from the District Line (my fave) to the Central at Bond Street. Little did I know it's a TREK to get from Monument to the Central line. Down some stairs followed by two sets of escalators, then passed the Bond Street DLR platforms then back up two more escalators and finally onto the tube Liverpool Street bound. I got off and couldn't find an obvious exit so followed a stream of people and pretended like I knew what I was doing.
Eventually after getting lost walking into the depths of Hoxton instead of taking a subtle right turn I found the venue, Rich Mix, half an hour after the start.
I got up to the 4th floor to find the place deserted except for two immaculate looking women and the fact that the panel had just started.
I walked in and had to pass right in front of the Company Editor, Victoria White, the superbloggers and the ENTIRE audience.
It was so cringe.
I found a seat at the back and kept quite for the rest of the discussions.
Overall I found the experience very useful and gave me the determination to just keep on going even if I'm talking to no one right now.

Anyways, enough about that! Here's what was in the goodie bag :)
